Tool Sign-Out

Members and Drop-in Makers can sign-out many of our tools from the front-desk by leaving a piece of collateral. All Tools must be kept on-site at MakerLabs.

Tools Behind the Front-Desk include but are not limited to:

  • Jointer/Planer Cord
  • Hand Router
  • Table Router Set + Bits
  • Wrenches
  • Screwdrivers
  • Allen Wrenches
  • Drill Bits
  • Digital Calipers & Angle Finder
  • Table Saw Blades
  • Band Saw Blades ($5 Rental)
  • CNC Bits ($5 Rental)

To check out tools:

  1. Come by the front desk and ask for the tool
  2. Fill out the sign out sheet
  3. Leave collateral (keys or phone) in a slot. ID like a drivers license will not be accepted

To return tools:

  1. Bring the tool back to the front desk
  2. Confirm on the sign out sheet you have returned the tool
  3. Collect your collateral

Consumables can be purchased from the MakerLabs Store opposite the Front Desk. Consumables include but are not limited to:

  • Glue / Tape
  • Biscuits / Dowels
  • Sandpaper
  • Disc Grinders
  • CNC Bits
